Bashar Odeh Yasin
Having more than twenty years of experience in Payment Systems (PS), Information Technology (IT) and Banking supervision captured through Mr. Yasin work at ProgressSoft corporation, Palestine Monitory authority PMA and across the Middle East and North Africa region besides other projects in Asia and Africa.
Mr. Bashar Yasin has diversified experience in several areas, such as: financial services, financial inclusion, E-payments, project management, central banking payment solution clearing, and settlement and strategic planning. Worked for ProgressSoft for above eleven years, acting as a payment systems consultant and project manager for several large payment projects in different central banks in the region and overseas, evolving in forming business rules and regulations for different payment systems, implementation, integration with other services.
Moreover Mr. Yasin was the Head at the Payment Systems Department (PSD) in PMA for six years, reporting to the Governor, with major responsibility for PS reform in Palestine, including establishing a vision and strategy of PS, engaged directly in every single decision related to PS reform in Palestine, with a vision to all payments' pillars and with the capacity to go deeply in each single pillar.
